I've been living in the beautiful Ostwestfalen-Lippe region for quite some time now. Before that, I spent several years in southern Germany, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the region’s history and cultural landscape.
After completing my studies in Turkey, the U.S., and Germany, I earned my doctorate (Dr. phil.) in American Studies from Heidelberg University in 2017.
For several years, I worked as a researcher at two universities in North Rhine-Westphalia, where I also taught various seminars in the Department of English and American Studies.
I remain an active researcher—I’ve authored a book and several academic articles in German, English, and Turkish, and I occasionally review manuscripts for academic journals.
I'm passionate about bringing languages and cultures together and believe that translation is more than just words—it’s about conveying meaning, nuance, and understanding.
